We can save our clients money because we understand the whole picture –for one client that might mean savings on insulation; for another, the use of engineered floor joists, for another, our collaboration with their M&E team… if we are involved early doors we can make a big difference because we have the experience and the will to save money.

By paying attention to ‘fabric first’ (rather than technologies) and worldwide build techniques, we can guarantee build compliance because we understand the confusing building regulation changes. And we believe that by talking, we can make it work.
We are great at teamwork
Your first contact will be with the one of the Datum team who will start by helping you to pull all your plans together. Once you have decided what you want, our engineer, architectural technician, SAP guru and timberframe designers will all work collaboratively to optimise your build. If your build presents some ‘interesting’ or complex issues, our engineer will spot them at the outset and will offer the best solution overall.
Our designers are on hand at every stage of the process and will be able to talk you through any aspect of your structure. Our SAP guru will ensure that you save on heating & running costs long term. Our frame checking expert will ensure that your timber frame is compliant and safe. Our Production Team is efficient, accurate and fast – they take great pride in making sure that the frames are built right first time – and they should know (they’re experts).
And when it all gets to site? Our construction teams make sure that the good work continues with strong safe accurate builds – in time, on time.
